Today I welcomed The Labour Transport team to East Hull today. The Shadow Secretary of State for Transport Jim McMahon was joined by Shadow Minister for Aviation, Maritime and Security Mike Kane heard from the RMT Union about the impact of P&o Ferries plan to remove the Hull-Zeebrugge route.

We then Met ABP Humber senior management team and Humber Port Director Simon Bird to discuss our concerns about the impact it may have on ABP ports if the Hull to Zebrugge route closed. We must ensure this route keeps going by exploring all possibilities.
